How to set up Netscape Email for Macintosh
Open Netscape Messenger. On the menu bar select Edit -> Preferences. Select
Identity from the Mail & Newsgroups category. Fill in your name and email address
in the appropriate fields.
- Select Mail Servers from the Mail & Newsgroups category, then press Add.
- The Mail Server Properties dialog opens. In Server Name, enter mail.yourdomain.com (i.e., the domain we host for you).
- For the Server Type select POP3 Server.
- In User Name, type in your login name supplied to you by WebHostWorks.net.
- Check Remember password if you don't want to enter your password every time you check email.
- Next, in Outgoing Mail Server, type in smtp.yourdomain.com.
- In Outgoing mail server user name, type in your login name
supplied to you by WebHostWorks.net, and press OK.
The first time you check your email you will be asked for your password.
Type in your WebHostWorks.net supplied password and press OK. You should only have to do this once.
